|1 cup gram flour 1/2 cup yogurt|
|dilute with water,add in salt to taste|
dont make the mix too runny
|let it rest for 4/8 hrs....i say do this after breakfast|
so you cn have it for evening tea
|i kept mine for 8 hrs..|
now just before cooking add in 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp asefotida
and a paste of ~baking soda mixed with few drops warm water
mix it well....
|grease a steel plate|
|Steam it for 10 min|
then let it cool down...
|for the tempering|
curry leaf,mustard seeds,green chili
and coconut for garnish
|after adding the tempering spices quickly add 1 tsp sugar|
and few drops water
|see how its bubbling..perfect..thats what we want|
|pour on the cut dhokla pieces|
|i hate wasting anything...|
thats why i toss the dhokla back in the pan so it soaks up everything !
