So here is the Famous Kootu Curry Recipe
healthy and yummy |
green chili yam cut in pieces |
tempering chana daal coconut mustard seeds dried red chili also coconut paste for the gravy and jaggery |
red gram boiled with salt and turmeric |
in a pan boil the yam in little water with turmeric and green chili also add in salt |
after 10 min add coconut paste and jaggery along with the boiled red gram cook for 5/7 min |
after the gravy gets a boil,its time to temper add the coconut in the end so it does not burn |
add it to the gram curry,let all the water dry up |
serve as a side dish with any curry |
