In North India this tasty dish called Sukhi Moong Dal Mooli Bhujia is made during winters and festivals.
Mostly served during Pujas or any auspicious occasions.
This sabzi, it is great for a winter brunch too as this dish fills you up and keeps you warm.
It is only eaten with Pooris/Puris,no rice or rotis for this Mooli Bhujia.
So here is a Special North Indian Festival Breakfast Dish

t.i.p-make it in an iron pan for best results |
radish leaves chopped,also chop the whole radish soak 1/2 cup moong daal for 1 hour before cooking |
hing 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp ginger 1 tsp grated chaat masala 1/2 tsp green chili chopped |
in ghee saute all the spices and add in the small radish pieces |
add in the moong daal and the leaves stir for 2 min then add 1/2 cup water and cook till the moong daal is soft.. cook covered |
now your done ! serve hot with puris |
