These Dal Masala Vadas are also made on South Indian Festivals,so i made these on Onam for tea..
It also happens to be my grandfathers fav snack, when i made these i thought of him.
They are also called Perippu Vada in Kerala,Perippu is Dal in Malayalam.

|serve with milky tea|
|for 1 cup toor daal|
green chili to taste
curry leaves 10
give all these a crush in the chopper,the paste must be coarse
|soak the toor daal for 2 hrs|
|make sure to drain all the water (very important)|
|after you drain the water from the daal,crush in the chopper|
do not make a fine paste
|now mix in the masala paste with the daal|
also add salt to taste
|make big or small pattys and fry|
|now your done !|
