This is a typical Indian Masala Gravy recipe !

you wont miss chicken if you have this mushroom dish |
tomato onion cardamom cashews |
kasuri methi, pepper pwd and garam masala to be added before serving |
mushroom cut in big chunks |
you can make this dish with butter ,oil or ghee...
i use butter,as this dish is not something i eat often..so why not !
saute the cashew,onions and tomato for 10 min,till half cooked |
blend to a smooth paste,add water to blend smoothly |
in the same pan which the onions were being sauted add more butter and saute mushrooms for 10 min..add salt then add all the spices |
check out the colour,looks so beautiful right saute this for 5 min |
after 5 min add in the paste |
then add 1/4 cup milk |
cover and cook till everything gets well mixed... then 10 min before serving add the kasuri methi,pepper and garam masala add in 1 pinch sugar too( not to miss) |
TIP-if you want this to taste like take away,add 1 tsp ketchup |
serve warm ! |
goes best with garlic naan or roti ! |
Hamm looks great, gives an impression that it is Mutton Masala (or Kosa Mangso). One question.... Are you sure the whole Cumin should be added along with powdered masala? I have never seen this before.
