Peach Lemonade (peachy lemonade) | Refreshing Peach Lemonade

Here is an easy peach lemonade to refresh you on sunny days when you just need some yummy drinks to cool you off, I can have this all day long and I promise you as soon as you  take a sip you will be one happy person !
This is my must have drink to beat the heat in Dubai !

To make 4 large glasses :
2 large yellow peaches peeled and cut
3 medium size lemons, juiced (remove the rind from 2 lemons)
6 tbs sugar or more it just depends on your taste
a pinch salt
Ice cubes to fill the pitcher
Water/ Peach fizz/ Soda to fill the glass

Start by boiling the peaches with the lemon rind and sugar with 3 cups water.

Make sure you boil it on a medium flame, stir in between.

You will notice a syrup forming in about 5/7 min and the water will be reduced to about 1/1/2 cups.
Strain the peaches not leaving any of the peachy goodness. Allow to cool for about 10 min.
Once cooled add the syrup to your pitcher and fill with ice. Pour in the lemon juice and fill with soda, any flavoured fizz or water. I always like adding lemon slices in each glass for my guests, they look and taste all the more great like that.
That's it guys ! Drink away !

This was my glass of yummy peach lemonade to make me a very happy girl !

Easy Thai Ice Tea Recipe | Thai Tea Recipe

This is one of my favourite drinks to have during summer and I make it at least once a week to cool me and hubby off, and I always make a bit extra and  freeze it so I can have Thai Ice Tea Slush which is another one of my fav.

I prefer making the ice tea from scratch and not the store brought tea blend.
After trying out different versions of Thai tea I prefer this recipe and I stick to it.

Note : This is how I do it, it maybe not the authentic recipe, but it tastes exactly like you get it Thai restaurants.

Here's the easy recipe for the perfect Thai Ice Tea in your own kitchen.

Don't you love the pretty swirls !!

In 3 cups water add in some lemon grass, 1 cinnamon stick, few cardamom pods crushed and star anaise. Boil for 5 min.

After 5 min add in 1 tsp of strong tea leaves, you can add more if you like it strong.

Boil for 2/3 min max then add in 2/3 tbs sugar or adjust to your taste.
Now allow it to rest for an hour. By doing this you slowly infuse the tea flavour and you do not end up with overly bitter tea concentrate.

Strain the mix and pout into a tall glass filled with ice, do not pour it completely.

Just about more than half a glass, the colour has to be a deep sunset golden.

Now add in a little condensed milk.

And last add in evaporated milk, you can also add in regular milk but for the real Thai Ice Tea experience you need evaporated milk.

Check out the beautiful swirls then mix in with your straw and sip away.

Now your done, do try it out you guys !

Avacado Smoothie (Vietnamese Drink Recipe ) | Sin To Bo Recipe

I love smoothies and I'm always trying out new flavours as it is such a quick and delicious way to keep you full and happy !!
My favourite smoothie/shake before trying out this yummy avocado smoothie used to be strawberry banana and orange, but seriously after I got a taste of this rich and creamy smoothie I got hooked and guess what this is the 3rd time I'm making it in 2 weeks so so sooo good.

Somehow I never end up posting drink recipes but I just had to post  this mind blowing avocado shake/smoothie. The actual name of this drink is Sin To Bo and it is a very popular Vietnamese drink.

You can add soy milk if you want to skip diary and also skip the condensed milk and add honey, but I say try it just the way it is supposed to be made. What say?

Here's the yummy recipe you guys !
Oh ya !

All you need for 2 medium size glasses
A very ripe avocado
Sweetened condensed milk (more or less to your taste)
Ice 1 glass
Milk 1 glass
A tiny bit coconut milk (optional)

All you need to do is blend everything till smooth and creamy and you are done. You can add less milk if you want the smoothie to be thick.

There you go, so simple and totally sinful !

Punjabi Lassi Patiala | Indian Yogurt Smoothie | Sweet Lassi

Punjabi Lassi aka Lassi Patiala is one drink which is rich and creamy and actually cools your tummy after a heavy Punjabi Lunch.
In short it is a Creamy Yogurt Smoothie mixed with cardamom. So so good !!

Authentic Punjabi Lassi a big fail is you do not use full cream yogurt and the right balance of sugar and salt.So give it a taste before serving and adjust the sugar and salt for a perfect mix.

The famous Punjabi Sweet Lassi Recipe is below

For 2 glasses of Punjabi Lassi Patiala

1 glass full cream thick yogurt
1 glass full cream milk
3 Cardamom pods crushed
6 tsp Sugar or more to your taste
1/2 tsp Salt
few icecubes
1/2 tsp chaat masala to garnish

Blend everything except the chaat masala and pour into a serving glass.
Sprinkle with chaat masala and extra cream(optional).

If you are serving this for a party you can top the Lassi with some Pistachios for some added colour and crunch.Pomegranate can also be added, but i skip it.

Bottoms up you all !

Angoori Raita Recipe | Grapes in Yogurt Dip | Angoor ka Raita

Tasty Angoor Raita (grapes in yogurt)

For Angoor Raita its best to use black grapes. If you want to go more fancy you can also add in pomegranate too,the dip then looks stunning and you have 2 wonderful flavours in one dish.
I skipped it today, but i insist you add it when you try this recipe.

Usually this Raita(dip) is served when you have something spicy so it cuts down the spice. This is also used as a dip for crisps, soup sticks, tortilla chips and even as a spread for Kathi rolls and other rolls.Just make sure you chop the grapes very fine when you make it as a spread.
For this dip you need
black grapes 1/2 cup cup cut in half
organic yogurt 1 cup
 - i used Rachels Yogurt, try some today, you will thank me

Spices
roasted and crushed cumin and coriander seeds 1 tsp
salt to taste
sugar to taste
chili flakes small pinch
chaat masala 1/2 tsp
chopped green chili 1
coriander leaves for garnish
mint leaves 1/2 cut very fine
mix everything together and arrange the grapes on top
then garnish with coriander leaves and your done !
