This gravy saves a lot of time when your in a hurry and specially when guests are over you wont miss on all the gossip ...why? Cos you already have your gravy ready and stored in the freezer !
store in ice trays and pop in the freezer you may keep them upto 2 weeks ! |
red chili pwd kasoori methi turmeric coriander pwd cumin seeds |
for a better flavour use corriander stems green chili garlic tomato onion |
i use a pressure cooker to make this add in oil and saute everything,on a low flame |
it does take a while,but it tastes great when we brown it slowly |
add in sugar...and salt |
now goes 1/2 cup water and close the lid, cook till 1 whistle ! |
after 1 whistle blend it...nice and smooth |
there you go the gravy is ready if you want you may add some food colour,but i dont |
let it cool completely then pour in an ice tray |
