well....i tried |
not bad eh |
1 cup gram flour 1/2 cup yogurt |
mix well |
dilute with water, add in salt to taste
dont make the mix too runny |
let it rest for 4/8 hrs....i say do this after breakfast
so you cn have it for evening tea |
i kept mine for 8 hrs..
now just before cooking add in 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp asefotida
and a paste of ~baking soda mixed with few drops warm water
mix it well.... |
grease a steel plate |
Steam it for 10 min
then let it cool down... |
for the tempering
curry leaf,mustard seeds,green chili
and coconut for garnish |
after adding the tempering spices quickly add 1 tsp sugar
and few drops water |
see how its bubbling..perfect..thats what we want |
pour on the cut dhokla pieces |
i hate wasting anything...
thats why i toss the dhokla back in the pan so it soaks up everything !
Try it ! |
