These Dal Masala Vadas are also made on South Indian Festivals,so i made these on Onam for tea..
It also happens to be my grandfathers fav snack, when i made these i thought of him.
They are also called Perippu Vada in Kerala,Perippu is Dal in Malayalam.

| serve with milky tea | 
| for 1 cup toor daal 1 onion green chili to taste ginger grated curry leaves 10 give all these a crush in the chopper,the paste must be coarse | 
| soak the toor daal for 2 hrs | 
| make sure to drain all the water (very important) | 
| after you drain the water from the daal,crush in the chopper do not make a fine paste | 
| now mix in the masala paste with the daal also add salt to taste | 
| make big or small pattys and fry | 
| now your done ! Eat away ! |
